Water Sterilisation - Line Towable - Twin Dosing system - ELSIL - Airbus
The Semmco water sterilisation rig, designed to meet airport line & remote environmental requirements, mounted on a 4 wheel towable robust chassis incorporates all wheel suspension, proven slew ring steering and safe wheel brake parking with tow bar in vertical position.
Comprising of “Water IN” 20m FDA hose ¾” bore, mounted on a stainless steel retractable hose reel. Panel mounted water sterilisation dosing system. Sterilisation “Water OUT” FDA hose ¾” bore, mounted on a stainless steel retractable hose reel with potable water aircraft coupling.
The water sterilisation dosing meter and proportional pumps facilitate the mixing and introduction of ‘Elsil’ (water purification chemical) solution into aircraft potable tanks and pipework. The system comprises of two dosing pumps, each capable of handling between 10 l/h and 3m³ of water with dosing rates of between 0.03% and 0.15%. The dosing flow control valves are pre-set to customer’s requirements or Airbus/Boeing water purification specifications. The water system comes with isolations vales for the manual selection of sterilisation or potable water purification, flow indicator meters (optional), pump isolation valves and a pressure relief valve.
To assist in the ease of use, the sterilisation and drinking water uplift systems have been colour coded; RED for water sterilisation and BLUE for potable water uplift. The system comes pre-calibrated for immediate use, pre-set at factory and require no operator adjustment.
Water sterilisation dosing pump is set at:
0.15% – 1.5ml per litre – 150ml per 100 litres – 1.5 litres per 1000 litres
Potable water dosing pump set at:
0.03% – 0.3ml per litre – 300ml per 1000 litres – 3 parts in 10,000 litres
"Thank you for the steps..they were bespoke and due to the confines of the location were an awkward design, however you have come through. All users have commented on the stability and overall quality."
